When can I order my books?
The first day to make online reservations for store pick up is the first Monday in December (Spring semester); the 4th Friday in July (Fall semester) and mid April (Summer sessions). The last day to purchase textbooks online will always be announced when online ordering has been enabled for each semester.

How can I get my books after the online system closes?
After the online system closes (one week before the beginning of each semester) you will be able to purchase textbooks only in-store at the main SF State campus.

How much does it cost to do an in-store reservation?
A $3.95 Reservation Fee will be charged for each order submitted.

Can I use my Baybucks to pay for my books?"
Yes, but you must sign up for this feature in order for your Baybucks to be disbursed from your financial aid. Go to the Office of Financial Aid website to sign up for the $200 Baybucks Program. There is a 2-3 business day activation period before you can use Baybucks as a method to pay for your textbooks online.

If I am still waiting to get into a class and I still want to order my books online after the semester starts, how would I do that?
Online textbook purchases will resume the following Monday after the last day to return books deadline.

All my textbooks are not in yet, how do I purchase all my books?
If all your books are not in yet, make an order for the books that are available. When your remaining books come in, make an order for those. Make sure you mention that you have made a previous order so we can put your books all in the same box.

It turns out that I am no longer going to take a class, how do I return books I no longer need?
Textbooks purchased must be returned in original condition, with original receipt, and Proof of Drop that you dropped the class, are returnable for a refund (less any shipping and/or shipping/handling fees). All refunds without a Proof of Drop will incur a 10% restocking fee.

I want to return my books after the return deadline, can I do that?
There are no REFUNDS on textbooks purchased after the return deadline.

Where do I pick up my books and how do I know they are ready to pick up?
Main Campus store pick-up for fall orders is located on the Mezzanine level of the Student Center room 113-C; and orders can be picked up as soon as you are notified of its completion.
